Resnap Jerseys

Measure a shirt and children’s shorts separately

Use your own comfortable garments as a comparison; a size label alone is not enough.

Start with a similar garment

Lay a shirt flat without stretching it. Measure underarm to underarm for flat chest width, then agree whether body length starts at the high shoulder point beside the collar. A roomy training top is not the same comparison as a fitted shirt.

Measure the shorts as well

The Argentina, Brazil, Germany and France children’s photos show shorts with their shirts. Record the shorts waist laid flat and the side length. State whether the elastic waistband was relaxed or stretched; the two measurements are not interchangeable.

Compare the exact reference and size

Request measurements for the selected kit and size, rather than borrowing a chart from another design. If the top fits but the shorts do not, ask whether a different size combination is possible before deciding.

Keep a useful measurement record

Write the reference, requested size, flat chest, body length, shorts waist and shorts length in centimetres. Keep a photo showing the tape endpoints so the supplier can use the same method. Only verified measurements should become a product size table.
